Chapter 1 – Dear Diary..

Well I guess its my first offical day of my brand new school. Its called ‘East High School’… I have no idea what to write, but I guess I will have a million things to say after school. I love you diary, your my best friend.

.. Chapter 2 – School

I throw my diary in my huge, messy closet. Then I look around and grab out an Aeropostale V-Neck, with some of my new denim short shorts. I look at the time and its 6;12 am. I run quickly to the bathroom and take of my polka dot shorts & my pink tank top. I then put on my v-neck. I glance in the mirror and smile. Then i put on my shorts really quickly. But my hair was a total mess! I hurried and straightened it as fast as I could. I ran back into my room and grabbed my Neon Backpack. I smiled and quick put on a pair of Hot Pink All Stars. Oh Yeah, I was perfect, just needed a quick spary of my coco perfume and I was done. I walked down our long, glass staircase and reached the Kitchen. My mom smiled at me and gave me a big long hug that ended with a mushy kiss. “Ewh, Mom!” I mumbled. She laughed and said “Never too old for Mommy’s kiss!” I rolled my eyes and sat down in our comfy stools. I quick ate a piece of toast, and chugged down a glass of milk. I then said “Bye Mom, Bye Cassie” My Mom waved a slow goodbye and my younger sister Cassie said “Have a bad day at school ugly” I gave her a mean look and she rolled her eyes. “ENOUGH, ENOUGH!” My mom shouted. I slammed the door behind me and started for school…..

Penguin Palace Series 2 – Airplanes. Her last chance.

“Twist, and Light! Wake up!!” I woke up feeling naive. I sat up on my bed thinking. I didn’t know what I was doing but I felt that I had too. Light then woke up and sat next to me. She asked “Is is Saturday yet?” I laughed. “Yes, yes its Saturday” She smiled. I then got up and pulled up the curtains to let the blinding sun in. “Close it! Its too bright!” Light demanded. I ignored her. We needed the sun it was very dark in our large room. I opened up my closest. “Hmm” I pulled out a graphic tee, black skinny jeans, and some socks. I threw them on my shoulder. “Light get ready!” I told her. I opened our bedroom door, closed it behind me and walked to the bathroom. I took a shower, put on my makeup and got dressed. I then opened the door and walked downstairs. Light was already waiting for me. “Mom made us some eggs and pancakes!” Light said. I smiled. “Been awhile since we had a nice breakfest!” I replied. Mom smiled. “Yes it has.” I looked around, the t.v. was off. “Wheres Dad?” I asked. “Oh he had to work today!” Mom said sadly. I nodded. The phone then rang. I walked towards it, but mom pushed me out of the way! She answered “Hello?”..”What!?!?”..”Oh! I will be there right away!” My mom rang out the door, turned on the car and drove away. Light looked shocked. I was confused. I looked on the calender. It was September 11th, 2001. My dad worked at the Twin Towers. “Light? Do you want to go for a walk?” She nodded. I put on my converse and so did she. We walked outside and headed for our fathers work place. We were almost there. “I can see the towers!” Light said. “Yeah me too!” I replied. We were at the nearest park. We were on top of the playground. I pointed “Look at those airplanes!” Light looked. “Wow they’re huge!” Then before I knew it there were hundreds of police. The twin towers were burning down! I screamed! I saw light crying. I hugged her tightly. The police came up to us and said “Do you know anybody that was inside there?” I nodded “Our father!” The police man looked at Light and nodded. Then I saw Regi running down the sidewalk. I yelled “Regi!!!!!” He came over by us and climbed up. “Im so sorry!” He said. The police came back with the only survivors. I shook my head. The police sighed and walked back. I hugged Regi so tightly. I never wanted to let him go. Then he hugged Light. We then went home and before we knew it the sun was setting. Light was already fast asleep. So i layed my head down and slept.

From January 29 to February 14, Quebec, Canada hosts a giant winter celebration called Carnival. It’s the largest winter carnival in the world, and if you have the chance to go this year, you’ll see a Club Penguin area with activities, lots of ice sculptures, and tons of surprises! There’s even going to be an award-winning ice artist. We really want your help to decide the final ice sculpture he’ll carve live during Carnival!!
